Miniature Ruby: Part 1

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you (complete with spelling and grammatical errors)*:

THE FAT QUIET KOALA by Ruby (age unknown but hopefully very young)



Once upon a time there was a very VERY VERY fat koala Some people think they are bears But they are NOT bears We just call them that. Well come on lets get on with our story. the story begins with a very fat koala his name was ken he ait and he ait HE AIT One morning he ait so many thing he got very VERY VERY fat. he got woreed he dinted no what to do. Some sorgested going to Jenny Graghe Some sogested not eatting for 2 howl weeks Some sorgested going on a diit. So that what he did YUM YUM YUM and thats that




Ah, the fresh beginnings of a literary mastermind.



*going through old school work is a great procrastination tool, especially when you're trying to write a thesis!

That's several kinds of awesome Ruby. This is what I'm talking about people. Real stories, involving real (fat) koalas.

I love the sylish close also. Very innovative formatting.

I remember finding old stories I'd written in early primary school, and thinking. "I don't remember writing that. This is really interesting. Am I sure that I wrote that?"

Going through your kiddy things is fun. I'm procrastinating on the last bit of my assignment (due in roughly 16 hours). Maybe I should begin a search for literary remnants of my childhood.

Hahaha! I love it! Reminds me of a school assignment I did on frogs. One of the questions was to report their life expectancy. I didn't understand the question and just wrote "frogs' life expectancy is however many years before they are killed or eaten." Classic!

Unless the thesis is on early childhood writing, which would of course have been helped by reading your old primary school manuscripts, very much a procrastination tool.

I wouldn't know where to start to try and find my old school work...
